Toilet paper tube seed starters make a great alternative to peat pots – they’re biodegradable, easy to make, and best of all they’re totally free!
What You’ll Need:
Toilet Paper Tubes
Seed Starting Mix
Scissors
Seeds
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Cut all of your toilet paper tubes in half, then cut four 1/2 inch evenly spaced slits around one end of the tube, creating four flaps.
Fold the four flaps together, overlapping them as pictured above to create a base.
Fill with seed starting mix, add seeds, and label. Easy peasy free seed starters!
Happy Gardening!
